The question of reinstating A. D. Kane, of Canterbury, was considered at a tpecia! meeting of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Council yesterday. Kane, who lias been selected as a member of the Canterbury team for the New Zealaud crosscountry championships at Auckland on Saturday, competed as a "dirt track" motor-cyclist last season. It was decided unanimously that Kane should be reinstated, his reinstatement to date from 4th April of this year.
