Rain delayed the discharging operations on the City of Christiauia at Lyttelton yesterday, and it is hoped to. dispatch her late to-night for Sydney.'" ' GOLDEN CROSS REPORTS. The Golden Cross has reported by wireless that she will arrive from Los Angeles on Friday afternoon. The vessel has lumber, case oil, and general cargo from Pacific Coast ports for discharge at Auckland, Wellington,. Lyttelton, Tlmaru, Dunedin, and Australia. MISHAP TO GOLDEN CLOUD. Advice baa been received in New Zealand that the American steamer Golden Cloud, which left Newcastle on 22nd June for Honolulu, after discharging cargo from America in New Zealand earlier in the month, lost her propeller 236 miles west of Honolulu on 13th July. As soon as tho news was received at Honolulu the steamer Malika and a United States coastguard steamer were dispatched to her assistance, but she was later picked up by the Sunnadlne and towed into Honolulu Harbour on 16th July.
