When the Conservative and Liberal Leaders met Mr. Mac Donald at the Palace, the King first frankly discussed the situation, after which he left ihem in conference. He relumed after an hour, heard ihe result of their deliberations, and urged that some official slalemnnt be issued before they left the Palace. This resulted in the communique announcing that a National Government was under consideration.
