A slight increase in the revenue from power sales for the four months AprilJaly, 1931, as compared to that for the same months in 1930, was shown in a statement presented to the Hutt Valley Electric Power Board yesterday. At the Mount Cook Police Court to-day Michael Martin, a third offender for drunkenness, was fined £1, in default three days' imprisonment. William Patrick Lloyd was .fined 10s, in default 48 hours' imprisonment, for a second offence of drunkenness, Mr. «T, A, M'Grath was en the bench.
