TRENTHAM SCHOLARSHIPS.
MANUFACTURES' FEDERATION.
The executive committee of the Trentliani Scholarship Fund invites applications from all children eligible to receiva Trentham Scholarships. An advertisement in this issue sets out the conditions governing applications. The Trentham Scholarship Fund was founded for ■ the purpose of assisting in the education' of children of soldiers and nurses.
Tlie election of oßicers of the New Zealand Manufacturers' Federation, held yesterday, resulted: —President, Mr. J. T. Spears (Wellington); vice-president, Mr. F. Campbell (Wellington); secretary, Mr. R> T. M. Edmonds; auditor, Mr. F. W. Vosseler; treasurer, Mr. B. K. Render. The executive is to be in Wellington foe the ensuing year.
To-morrow, at 1.45 p.m., Messrs. H. Ernest Leigliton, Ltd., will sell by public auction on the ground at Wob'urn road (nest Recreation Ground), Lower Hutt, the contents of a five-roomed house, and several outside entries. Details are advertised.
