CUT AMBULANCE
MONTHLY MEETING
Mr. G. Mitchell presided at a meeting ot' the City Ambulance Board yesterday. There were also present Messrs. D. J. M'Gowan, F. D. Cornwall, R. L. Button, W. Button, S. F. Fisher, A. J. M'Curdy, and C. H. Chapman, M.P.
The report of Mr. F. Roffe, superintendent, was adopted. This showed that for the month ending 31st July, 722 cases had been attended, 72 being accidents, 63(3 "transports," 12 slight, and 2 serious office cases. The cars travelled 5530 miles during the month. The total Dumber of cases attended now numbered 24.865, and 253,85S miles had been travelled by the cars.- The honorary staff had given 249 hours of duly during the month.

A donation of £y, the proceeds of a concert, had been received from the Ngaio Progressive Association, and £2 12s, the result of a competition during a recent voyage, from Captain Boulton, of the Maui Pomare. A grant of £30 had also been received from the Town Clerk, Pctone.
