TITAHI CLUB
The following players will represent the Titahi Club to-morrow in an intei'club match with Shandon at Shandon, the first (en playing in the Watt * Cup:—Gibson, Blow, Boon, senr., Crombic, Laugbein, Sloane, Murphy, Shirer, R. A. Lulham, Mareliant, Hughes, Boon, junr., Hardcastle, Stone, Carr. Dentice, Aitken, Gilchrist, Kunkcl, Haywarcl, Tunningtou, Watts, Ferguson, Whitman, and W. B. Watson.
The finals of the senior and junior championships of the club over '36 holes arc between J. W. Gibson and W. C. Marchaut, and R. A. Lulham and H. Boon, junr. Gibson disposed of. Langbein in the semi-iinal by 5 and 3, going round in the good score of 79 itnd giving no chances. Marehant had a hard light through to the final. In his match with Dunbar Sloane he was 4 up at the 12th, but Sloane fought hard, and Marehant only won on the ISth green. He then had to play a. good round of SI to shake off Murphy on the 17th green. In the juniors Lulham and Boon are two of the club's most promising younger players, and it appears to be anybody's ' match. The matches are to be played this week-end.
