Miss D. K. Richmond, Hill street, has returned to Wellington after a sketching expedition at Milford Sound.

Mrs. jhodes, Eemuera, Auckland, who has been visiting Wellington, is now the gues1; of Mrs. W. E.. Bid will, Fcatherston. Lady Ava Nolan and her daughter aro passengers by the Bangitane from London, and will arrive in Auckland on 6th. August. A Press Association message from Groymouth reports the death of Mrs. Joyce, aged S9, a Greyrnouth pioneer and mother of the late Mr. W. J. Joyce, solicitor.
