TALKS TO PARENTS.
An interesting and instructive series of "Talks to Parents" will be commenced on the V.M.C.A. on Wednesday nest, 22nd July, when Mi. J. S. Tennant, M.A., B.Sc. (late professor education, Victoria College), will speak on "The Boy (Childhood)." This lecture will be followed: by five other talks. On sth August Mr. J. S. Tennant will again address the parents, his subject being "The Boy (Adolescence"); oh 18th August Mr. A. Leigh Hunt, F.P.A., will speak on "The Boy and His Future." "The Boy and His Health" will be given by Dr. Montgomery Spencer, M.D., F.R.C.S., on 2nd September. Mr. W. A. Armour, M.A., M.Sc. (headmaster, Wellington College), will speak on "The Boy and Sport" on-16th September; and the final talk, entitled "The Boy and Religion," will be given by the Rev. W. H. Newell, M.A., on 30th September. Any parents who feel that this series of talks will be of help to them are invited to attend, but are asked to notify the boys' work secretary of their intention to do so.
