REPRESENTATIVE TEAM
In view of the Rugby League match to be played next Saturday between a Wellington representative team and the Auckland Marist Club team, a trial match was played at the Winter Show Stadium on Saturday. The match was well contested and resulted in "The Rest" defeating "The Reps" .by.. 17 points^ to .15. ..'...... ■ The following' team has been selected to play the Auckland team:—Petherick, Holmes; Merson, T. Robins, Harris, Brace (vice-captain), Kelly (captain), M'Kewen, Dutch, Joyce, Davies, Russell, Ward. Reserves: Wano, Awatere, Darcie, Rae. The players will train at the gymnasium; Douglas street, to-night, to-morrow, and on Thursday. . , Mr." K. M'Kenzie.has been - appointed manager for the team, and Messrs; K. Duncan, D. Smith, and A,-Wilson trainers. The following schoolboys ace to be coached to play against a.
