■ A Canadian foursome, in which senior and junior players were partnered, was played on the Miramar links on Saturday. ' The winners were H. A. Black, the New Zealand amateur champion, and H. Parkin, who, with a handicap of 6, returned a card showing 1 up. They did the exceptionally good medal net round of 79, which is only four strpkes over par, under boisterous weather conditions. The runners-up were H. H. M'Lean and H. A. Brown (11), who finished 1 d,own. . Next Saturday the competition for the Doughty ■ Memorial, a; fourball; unconditiqnal contest, will be played.
