■ A Canadian foursome, in which senior and junior players were partnered, was played on the Miramar links on Saturday. ' The winners were H. A. Black, the New Zealand amateur champion, and H. Parkin, who, with a handicap of 6, returned a card showing 1 up. They did the exceptionally good medal net round of 79, which is only four strpkes over par, under boisterous weather conditions.
