WEDDINGS

The. wedding took place recently at St. Giles's Presbyterian Church of Alice Martha, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Moston, Kilbirnie, to James Baron, elder1 son of Mr. and Mrs. D. Campbell, Sydney. The Rev. E. J. Orange officiated, and Mr. H. Cooke was at the organ. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a charming gown of white mariette and lace. Her embroidered veil was draped from a pearl Juliet cap with clusters of orange blossom at the sides. She carried a shower bouquet of Iceland poppies, chrysanthemums, and pink roses. The matron, of honour, Mrs. J. Boyd, and the bridesmaid, Miss J. MaeMillan, were dressed alike in frocks of apricot mariette and lace, with felt hats to ton©. They carried autumn-tinted bouquets. The flower girl, Nancy Jones, wore an Early "Victorian frock of blue crepe do chine, and a pearl Juliet cap, and shu carried a posy to tone. Mr. JBoyd was best man, and Mr. G.. MacMillan groomsman. The bridegroom's presents to the bridesmaids- were crystal necklaces, and to the flower -girl a signet ring. On leaving the chirr'! the bride was presented with two horse-; shoes. The reception was held at the L0.0.R Hall, where the guests were received by the bride's mother, who wore a frock of brown mariotte and lace, with hat to tone.
