CARD AFTERNOON

PARTY AT LOWER HUTT

A specially large and delightful card party was held recently,: in aid of the (distress fund, in King George's Theatre dance hall, Lower Hutt. (kindly lent by Mr. Denby). The hall was very effectively lighted and heated by Stewarts Electrical Co. Mrs. Harry Mitchell, who organised the function, was assisted by Mrs. Brooks, Mrs. Nichols, Mrs. Harrower, Miss Grey. Mrs. Westbury,, Mrs." Aldbus, Mrs. D. Grant, and Mrs. Gearing. The hostesses for-the afternoon were Lady Roberts and Mrs. Walter Nash.
