TYING THE KNOT
For this trick you will want a piece of string about a yard in length. Ask some one to take an end of the string in each hand and tie a knot in the centro of it without removing the hands from the ends of the string. Almost certainly your friend will fail, and when others havo had v try you can show how easily tho trick is done. Put the string along the edge of.tho table. Now fold the arms so that the left hand is beneath the right arm and the right hand is abovo the left arm. Then pick up the ends of the string, your right hand taking the left end and the left hand the right end. Upfold the amis, and you will find a knot in the centre of the string.
