THEFT OF OIL
Shortly after 1 o'clock yesterday morning the petrol station at the Petone crossing was broken into, and four gallons of oil were stolen. At noon to-day a young Lower Hutt man was arrested in Wellington by Detective "VV. M'Lennan, and he will appear at the Magistrate's Court to-morrow in connection with the offence.
