• John Fitzgerald, a labourer,.aged 47, was .fined £2, in default seven .days imprison-' ment, .for .fighting in Tory .street. Charles Brown, a labourer, aged 55, who was jontly charged with the offence, was fined £1, in default three days' '-imprisonment. Sub-Inspector Lopdell said that Fitzgerald appeared to be the aggressor in' the figKt. ' '.
At the Mount Cook Police Court this morning a second offender for drunkenness was fined 10s by Mr. W. H. Coy, J.P.
