STIMSON SATISFIED
AGREEMENT IN SIGHT
NEW YORK, 27th June. Before sailing for Europe to-day the Secretary, Mr. H. L. Stimson,-. said that Friday night's vote of confidence by the French Parliament was a clear indication that France and the United States would roach a satisfactory agreement on the debt reparations moratorium proposal. According to a statement made by Mr. Stimson in Washington on Friday, the suggestions in the French counterproposal to President Hoover's year moratorium plan do not accomplish the full measure of relief contemplated by the President and must therefore be the subject of- discussion to reconcile the two viewpoints.
