AVIATION NEWS
Piloting an Avro aeroplane, Mir. C. P. Waite, accompanied by Mr. F. Gresser as passenger, arrived at the Eongotai Aerodromo at 4.30 p.m. on Saturday from Christehurch, via Kaikoura and Blenheim. The actual flying time occupied on the trip was two hours and throe-quarters. The aeroplane, which was recently purchased by Messrs. Waite, Gresser, and B. Connor from the New Zealand Air Force, is a type that was used for training purposes during the war in 1910.
