CANADA AND AUSTRALIA
TRADE TREATY DELAYS
OTTAWA, 2'ith June.
The trade agreement with Australia will necessitate a number of changes in the tariff schedules brought down by the Budget, the Premier, Mr. E. B. Bennett, announced in the House of Commons on Wednesday. Cable communications have been exchanged between tho two Governments, and it will bo necessary to await certain texts from Australia before the Budget resolutions can bo brought before the House.
