The secretary of the centre reported that ho had replied that only in. cases where cash prizes were, given for-play-ing, .\ye.ro footballers debarred. ■
A member: "If a league man is selected for the Canterbury representative team ho will be debarred by us."
Another member remarked that a cash runner of rider was allowed to play under" the Canterbury Bugby Union.
