Kccciit events ia the local senior A grade Rugby football championship have stimulated interest .in the competition, and of the games to be decided to-morrow that between Petone and Hntt will have a ; special appeal. Apart from the district interest, this game will attract attention from city enthusiasts as being, one likely to have just as important a bearing upon the run to championship'honours as'that in which. Hutt met defeat last Saturday. Hntt still occupy the loading position,' but Petone's place is much lower than haa been the caso for years, and on that account a spirited bid'for a better place. is expected. The game should be keen.and interesting, and for early arrivals, at the Park there will also bo a. good attraction in the meeting of the Athletic and University first fifteons. P-oneke and.Oriental, are to meet at Kewtown Park, aud their game should be a stirring one.- - ..
