TOURIST TROPHY IN ISLE OF
MAN

RUGBY, 17th June. The international Tourist Trophy raco in thc'ls'lo.of Man. for lightwoight motor-cycles,, with engines under 250 c.c, was won by Graham Walker on a Budge machine, at an average speed of 68.08 miles an hour, over a difficult SCOmile mountain course.
There were-41 starters. Tyrell Smith, also on a Rudgc, finished second, and Mollors, on a New Imperial, was third. The foreign machines seemed-to be outclassed.
The Italian crack rider, Ghorsi, came in. sixth, but was riding a British Now Imperial cycle.
The little engines, each with a pis' ton diameter no bigger than a wineglass, stood up to the race with astonish ing efficiency.
