MORE TAX, LESS REVENUE.
Figures issued by the National lloatl Motorists' Association of New South Wales show a falling off of. nearly 33 per cent, in new motor registrations for the first four months of the year, and a rciluetion of nearly 10 per cent, on registration renewals compared with the corresponding period of last year. It is feared in the motor trade that conditions will become much worse if the proposed new taxation and restrictions on motor vehicles become law.
