GUARD KILLED
FALL OFF A TRAIN
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) "" WANGANUI, This Day. Guard'P. Matthews, for eight'years a resident of Marton, fell off the train at Baker's Crossing,' and died almost immediately.
The train was bringing Auckland Limited passengers from Marton, and had to be divided to take the hill. During these operations the accident occurred.
