At the wool sales to-day, 7757 bales were offered, of which 5205 were sold at auction. A 150:3533 disposed" of privately. The: market was unchanged. The chief competition came from the Japanese. The demand for inferior lines of merinos, crossbrecjg, and scoureds was poor. Greasy merino made up to 13% d.
