A message from Weston, Connecticut, states that Miss Eva Lo Gallienne, founder, director, and leading woman of Now York's famous Civic Repertory Theatre, Josephine Hutchinson, a member of her company, and a maidservant, were burned in the explosion of a gas heater in Miss Lo Gallienne's country home, .when the latter attempted to heat water to give her dog a bath. . Miss Lo Gallieiuio was removed to hospital, where she will remain for a lengthy period. ' It is feared that she will be scarred from tho serious burns on her face, shoulders, arms, chest, and thighs.
