A very pleasant evening was spent on ■Thursday ■ at 5 the grooms'.'of,, the .British Sailors':.. -Socjetyjj.>Y;hen>* rmen ? -frpm ships : in port were entertained by a concert arranged by Mr. AY. J. Mountjoy. The audience enthusiastically showed its appreciation: by very" hearty applause. Amongst the moßt/popular performances were two.pianoforte.solos by Mr. Mervyn Pearce, and a whistlingr .mix-iiy by the "Two Mace." Other Jp.erfonuers were Messrs. B..and 55. Henderson, and Leonie Whiteford,. and: Messrs. liewai Street and Tom Lambert." Miss Kidman was the accompanist. At the conclusion of the concert supper was served-.-'--
