BURGLARY IN DUNEDIN
! GOODS FOUND IN MOTOR- | CAR (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, This Day. Burglars entered the premises of C. 11. Tucker and Co., merchants, in Jcrvois street last night and removed £175 worth of cigarettes and tobacco. A business man whose premises arc near was returning to his office at 11.40 p.m. and saw a big car outside Tucker's storeroom door. Ho crossed the road, but the car started. He thought one of the persons in the car was a woman. At Timaru this morning a constable searched a car which was seen arriving and Arthur Gavan was arrested with a large quantity of goods in sacks. TIMARU, This Day. Gavan was arrested while driving into a garage hero, v.-ith £175 worth of tobacco in sacks.
