MR. COATES HAS NO COMMENT
(By Telegraph .-—Press Association.) GISBORNE, This Day. On the substance of the announcement by Independent members of Parliament being conveyed to Mr. Coates in Gisborne to-day, with a request for comment, the Leader of the Opposition stated that he did not wish to discuss the proposals at the present juncture. He indicated that there would bo ample opportunity for the discussion later of this and other plans for adjusting the existing state of affairs in Parliament.
