COMPANIES' GUARANTEES AMENDED SCHEDULE (Received *4Ui June, 11 a.m.)' *\ SYDNEY,. This Day. Substantial alterations to the schedule of the Insurance Companies' De« posits Bill, providing for payments _ to bo made by companies, were carried by the Legislative Council. "The amended schedule provides that a company doing general business in. the State shall deposit a minimum of, £5000, and in addition 25 per cent, of • its premium income, with a maximum of £20,000. British companies will pay £50,000 instead of £75,000, and foreign companies £50,000 instead of £100,000.
