BILL BEFORE JUDGES
DECLARED UNWORKABLE
MAKING THINGS WORSE United Tress Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, 3rd June. The Lang Government's Law Kef orm Bill, sponsored by tho AttorneyGeneral, Mr. F. Lysaght, created so much controversy that it was referred finally to the Supreme Court Judges for a report. The Judges unanimously express tho opinion that the Bill will prove unworkable and will aggravate tho evils it is designed to cure. It would enormously increase delay and expense, as well as create a greater uncertainty of law. The Bill made revolutionary changes in tho methods of procedure and costs which would lead to most unsatisfactory results.
