HOTEL FIRE TRAGEDY
INQUEST AND VERDICT (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GREYMOTJTH, This Day. An inquest was held to-day in connection with, the ' "Union Hotel fire tragedy on Sunday, when four men lost their lives. The Coroner, Mr. Mcldrum, returned a verdict that the deaths were from suffocation and hums before the arrival of the fire brigade. The evidence showed that it had been impossible to do more than was done to attempt to save the lives of the victims, and that the origin of the fire was entirely accidental.
