Frederick Lonsdalc's brilliant comedy, "Ou Approval," is being showt at Shortt's Theatre. If there are any shortcomings in the pteiure,' it is in. tho fact that the laughs of the audience arc so loud land so long that at times they drown the fdlowinc dialogue. If British producers continue1, to send out productions of tho standard uf:'On- Approval," thero will be no need to talk ibout British quotas and other protective mea.sjr.es, to ensure British pictures having a sacdsssful run. Tho cast Is almost tho same as "Jookery Nook." Tom Walls is ttie irresistible, (on't care, imponcuutous Dulse of Bristol, Wiilfred Shottor as a charming woman, and Ma-y Broiigh, etc., in those kind of parts which Madei them so famoua': in "Kookcry Nook." ! '
