BIRTHDAY IN THE RING
All was a flutter, for it was th« "Fairy Eiug's" birthday. Fairiel was busy sending invitations out.to all her ' little nieces and nephews. At last the day arrived when. th« Eing was four years old. All the littla elves and fairies were arrayed in their best clothes. Fairiel, being queen of the evening, sat od. a huge mushroom. Then came the time, for the sapper* Dew in bluebells, little honey cakes, and then Fairiel had to cut the cake—a lovely pink Diarzipan-iced cake with' four candles on itl Then they began to dance again, and then, as the moon began to fade away, the guests began, to. leave the ring, after telling the. guest of honour that they had- a very enjoy* able time. .'.:..' ..
