LONDON, 21st May.
At the Royal Empire Society's Em* pire Day dinner, at which the Higli Commissioners and Agents-General were present, Lord Jellicoe said thai he saw signs of the weakening of die virile manhood, public spirit, and discipline which had built the Empire and Britain, tending to reduced armaments below the essential limit. The Allies were increasing their naval strength, and Britain alone had consistently reduced it since the war.
