WELLINGTON SUBURBS SEAT
A meeting of members of tho New Zealand Political Association" resident in tho Wellington Suburbs electorate was held on .Thursday afternoon, representatives from all'parts of tho constituency being present. Mr. J. N. Wallace, a member of the committee, occupied tho chair. Tho following resolution was unanimously passed: That this meeting, after long and careful consideration, urges, irrespective of party, that the sitting member (Mr. R. A.' Wright) bo supported for Wellington Suburbs constituency by all electors who favour a National Government to cope with tho existing economic emergencies.* This decision was arrived at after a close analysisVof the support accorded to Mr. Wright at the last General Election and tlie prospect of losing that advantage if tho vote is split- .as tho result of a triangular contest with the Labour Party.
