Load statistics for the month of April, with figures to date in parentheses, wer« presented to the meeting'of the Butt Valley' Electric Power Board yesterday -a* ! follows :-Number of consumers, 39 (10,506). ranges, 10 (1367); water heaters.^9 (1178). The connected load in k.w. was 216.8 (37,- - made up of light 18.6 (MM),.heat 168.5 (25,282), and power 31/ (7123). Units registered for tho month totalled 1882 400, and the maximum demand toi1 the month was 4700 k.v.a. at 6.15 pjn. oa 7th April, at 06 power factor.. Lower Hutt was the district in which re-inspection work was now being carried out. and it was expected, that the work would take some- time to complete iv that district. Between 9th April and 6th May 74 installations had been re-inspected and 88 defect notices had been issued. ,In April the board's motor vehicles ram 13,922 miles, using 760% gallons of benzine.
