Sir Francis and Lady Boys, Christchurch, arrived in Wellington yesterday morning, and left last evening for Auckland, en route to England. Miss Mabel Jackson, Auckland, who lias been visiting Wellington and Timaru, returned home last evening. Mrs. Ginn has returned to Wellington after a visit to Dunedin. Mr. and Mrs. Cantrell, Auckland, who havo come to live in Wellington, have taken a flat on . tho Terrace. Mrs. Edric Alexander accompanied thorn from Auckland. Miss Elizabeth Cole and Miss Ruth Good, Melbourne, are staying at Sayes Court. The engagement is announced in tho Christchurch' "Press" of Aroha, youngest daughter of Mr. Walter Clifford, Fendalton, Christchurch, to Alt" Brustad, of Hamar, Norway.

Miss Mary Truby King arrived in Auckland this week by the Monowai from Sydney.

Misses Maud and Mabel Cuthbert have returned to Christchurch after a visit to the North Island.

Mr. and Mrs. M. Gifford-Moore, Wellington, have returned from a visit to Christchurch. •

Sir George and Lady Fuller wore passengers on the Aorangi, which called at Auckland on Monday. They are returning to Australia, after spending three years in London, where Sir George was Agent-General for Now South Wales.
