LEAGUE FOOTBALL
At the Show Stadium to-morrow afternoon the late game between Petone and Old Boys, who are level in the championship competition, should produce some good football. Both teams indulge in the open style of play, and the players possess the necessary speed. The teams have beeu reinforced by stronger players, and an improvement should be noted in the team work. The early game, Newtown v. City, is expected to provide a very keen tussle. Both teams are confident of success, and the players are of the class who keep, going until the. final whistle.
