MISSING MAN TURNS UP
ARREST ON THEFT CHARGE

AUCKLAND, 18th May.
Peter Reilly, aged 50, a taxi driver, appeared in the Police Court to-day-charged with stealing at Napier on 20th January last £800 belonging to James Joseph ■ Leonard. ' The accused was remanded to appear at Napier. -. : At the time of the earthquake it was thought the accused had been buriod in his car under the huge slip from Bluff Hill, and he was officially posted as missing.
