The Rev.. J. N. Thompson, vicar of Inglewood, Tarauaki, has been appointed to assist the Rev. Jasper Calder as curate 'at the Church of the Epiphany, Newton, to which parish Mr. Calder wasinducted as vicar last week. Mr. Thompson will also assist in the social work of the Auckland City Mission. He will take up his. new duties
in July.
