Parachutes saved'J lie lives of two Royal Ail- Force pilots who were taking part in exercires in which two squadrons of aerop lanes were engaged at Aldershol. Two aeroplanes collided and crashed from a height of about 3000 feet:. Both pilots jumped clear, and bj ■ the aid of parachutes landed safely.
