The police arc seeking a man. who hanged his oighteen-year-old daughter in the presence of her mother-in-law because she married against his wishes. Profiting by tho absence of tho husband on military service tho father invited her to stay at her old homo at Clermont Ferrand. Suddenly, in a lonely spot, he tied a rope to her neck and hanged her fi«<n a tree. When she was dead, he dragged tho body to another tree and hanged it again.
