WEDDINGS
The marriage took place, at the Presbyterian Church, Kent terrace, recently of Sarah Houston Taylor (Cissie), eldest daughter of Mrs. and the late James Taylor, Groenoek, Scotland, to Robert James Wood, eldest sou of Mr. and Mrs. AVoori, Huiroa, Stratford. The Rev. James Baird was the officiating clergyman. The bride, who was escorted "by her brother, : wore a graceful gown of georgette beaded with silver and pearls. It was finished with heavily beaded panels, and the fully flared skirt reached to the ankles. Her tulle veil was- fastened with a wreath of orange blossom, and- her shower bouquet was of pink aud: white roses. Miss Polly Taylor (sister of the bride) who was bridesmaid, wore a frock of delicate shaded green floral ,ninon frilled from the waist to the ankles. She carried a shower, bouquet of pink aud white roses. Mr. Leslie Wood (brother of the bridegroom) was best man. After the ceremony the bride's mother entertained her guests at her homo in Hanson, street.
