A FATAL CRASH

CAR AND MOTOR-CYCLE

(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post") AUCKLAND, 3rd May. Fatal injuries were received by a motor-cyclist, Mr. Arthur Lamber Lee, ngc-d 25, of Mount Albert, when his machine crashed into tho back of a motor-ear at Mount Albert on Saturday. Mr. E. Hughes, who was pillion-riding 9n the cycle, received slight injuries. Mr. Lee was riding along Glad--jtone road toward Great North road, and tho car was proceeding in the opposite direction along Gladstone road. The car was turning into Woodward road when the cycle collided with it. Messrs. Lee and Hughes were thrown to the ground. Mr. Lee was picked up unconscious, and taken to the Auckland Hospital with a fracture of the skull, and died later. He was a married'man with two children, one aged four and tho other two.
