DANGER OF DISTURBANCES
PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES
DELHI, 2nd May. A Bengal Government proclamation, states that owing to the dangerous and disturbed state of certain districts in 'Chittagong, and the conduct of the inhabitants, additional police will be quartered in 52 villages for two months at the cost of .the inhabitants. _ A number of houses were raided by; the police and several arrests made. The curfew order, night patrols, ana other precautionary measures are continuing. _____________
