MISSING EXPLORERS
BRITISH EXPEDITION
GREENLAND'S ICE CAP
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. COPENHAGEN, 2nd May. A message received here states that after a vain attempt to reach Augustin Courtauld, missing in Greenland, by sleighs, H. G. Watkins, leader of the British expedition, and his two companions, with only a few provisions, set out from tho base a fortnight ago, and have not been heard of since. It is presumed that they are roaming about on the ice-sheet in the interior of Greenland. Meanwhile Hatton and Cousins, mom-' bers of the expedition, feverishly repaired a Motli 'plane for the purpose of a search for Courtauld. They loft Angmagsalik on Saturday morning to seek Watkins and his companions.
