WOOL DISPOSAL
The following statistics relative to the 1930-31 Australian clip received into, store and shipped unsold, between Ist July and 31st March inclusive, compared with the corresponding period of last year, are supplied by the National Council of Woolselling Brokers of Australia: — 1929-30. 1930-31. , Bales. Received 2,402,284 2,263,540 Sold, auction, or private 1,669,523 2,049,938 Shipped unsold .... 31,654 33,296 In store 31st March 701,107 180,312 2,402,284 2,263,546 Carry-over wool for previous season is not included in the foregoing figures. There are still 2368 bales of the 1029-30 clip unsold in store. Receipts of new clip into store show €i decrease of 138,738 bales compared with the corresponding period of last year.
