The Minister in Charge of the Electoral Department (the Hou. H. Atmore) announced to-day that the writ in connection with the Hauraki by-elec-tion will be issued on Wednesday, 29th April. Nominations will close on Wednesday, 13th May, and polling day will be ou Wednesday, 27th May. The writ will.be returnable on Monday, Bth June. The roll will close at 6 p.m. to-mor-
