ROAD TRAFFIC ACT

IMPROVEMENT OBSERVED
LONDON, Bth April. More than 1000 trained observers are reporting to the Automobile Association on the effects and working of the new Eoad Traffic Act. .
They declare that the Eastertide motoring showed an appreciable improvement in driving skill and road courtesy. The Teeognised driving signals are given correctly. The average speed is slightly faster than before the abolition of the limit, but greater care is being taken in towns and villages.
Cornering showed a great improvement, though there wore a few cases of passing on bends. Only 10 per cent, of tho drivers wore judged guilty of bad driving. .
